Hana & Hair

Do you straighten your hair often? Maybe too often?
We have all heard from our hair stylists, magazines, and other beauty promoters how damaging straightening your hair, among other things, can be to your hair over time. Knowing that, I am always very cautious and try my best to take all the preventive measures to protecting my hair. I usually use a root lifter for extra volume as well as mousse for extra body, but also to protect my hair. By using mousse it protects my hair from as much damage; straightening dry hair with no product is even more damaging.

Another thing is get the best straightener you can. I have always used a Chi, not because I have tried all the others and know that it is the best, but mostly because it is the more widely known of. That is what many hair stylists use and it is what I knew had a good reputation. I have been perfectly satisfied with my Chi, but I was told that having a temperature control was a great way to keep your hair safe. While some Chi's do have one, my Chi does not have a temperature control. So when I got the chance to try out a Hana straightener, which does have a temperature control, I felt pretty safe to try it out and not damage my hair.

Misikko asked me to give the Hana straightener a try and I agreed, expecting to get a box with just the straightener... but no, that was not quite all I received!

This wonderful company went over and beyond to make my Hana experience great. Look at all of this stuff!

Of course the Hana straightener complete with a leather carrying case.
A felt case and a rubber countertop cover to protect your counter or carpet (whatever surface you place your straightener on) from being burned.

Then they even threw in some other beauty products! I mean these people really know how to create some faithful customers.

The straightener itself is very light weight comparing to other straighteners. As I said previously, it has a temperature control that goes up to 450 degrees (F). The company wants to promote healthy, beautiful hair, so they always include some booklets and instructions to prevent hair damage. In a booklet they outline what temperature would be right for your type of hair. I have been setting my straightener on about 350 degrees. The Hana heats up in about 60 seconds, possibly less depending on how high you set the temperature. I noticed when I used the Hana that my hair actually felt like it had more moisture in it than it typically does when I straighten it. My hair was shinny and, as Hana promises, it leaves your hair with locked in moisture.

If you are looking to purchase a new straightener, or maybe you just aren't satisfied with the straightener you currently have, I would recommend you look into the Hana straightener. In fact, not just a straightener, but Hana Salon has everything you need to meet your hair care needs, including protective products, hair dryers, curling irons, and the list goes on and on. Go on over and visit them on their website, "like" them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter to get all of their special promotions and products. I promise you won't regret it!

I have a word of advice to Torie (girl in video).... You should have got a Hana!
