Last week I hit the road with some of the students from my youth group and headed to Louisville, Kentucky. Our fellowship of churches (the Assemblies of God) hosts what is called Fine Arts at the district level. Students go participate and present their talents, whether that be singing, drama, dancing, writing, drawing, preaching (there are about 35 categories to participate in). They perform in front of judges who critique them and give them a score. If their score is high enough they can then go on to the national level, and that is what I went to last week in Kentucky. We had 5 students make it to the national level (and they did stinkin' amazing!), so we are very proud of them. We had 3 of our students in the top 9 in sign language solo, two being in the top 3! Then we had a group sign language that got 4th place, in the nation people!

I always enjoy seeing people post their week in pictures so I decided I would give you a little taste of my adventures in Louisville last week!

Saw this on the road, a man pulling his wife who is in a wheel chair on his scooter. So cute... and really funny.

We took a walk around Old Louisville where there are tons of homes from the 1800 & 1900's. They were absolutely breath-taking. These pictures just can't do them justice. I think the top one is one of the most beautiful ones I saw.
